The Eliot Healthcare Center accommodates 114 residents. We are centrally located between the Framingham and Natick campuses of the MetroWest Medical Center. All of our beds are certified by Medicare and Medicaid/Masshealth. In addition to striving to provide quality care and compassion to our post-acute and short-term rehabilitation patients, we also offer a dementia unit and traditional long-term care services.
Our physical, occupational and speech/language therapists are part of Kindred's Peoplefirst Rehabilitation Services division. They work with residents confronting a variety of conditions, from stroke to dysphasia to Parkinson’s disease, as well as conditions resulting from elective surgeries, multiple trauma or recovery from amputations. The rehabilitation team creates an individualized treatment program developed with the interdisciplinary team of nursing, social services, activities and dietary in consultation with your physicians. The team members’ objective is to play an integral role in helping you regain your health and reach your maximum functional ability. We also offer a special cardiopulmonary rehabilitation program.
Our center also includes a separate unit dedicated to the care of residents with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia. Our Alzheimer’s program is designed to celebrate the spirit of our residents. We strive to offer a comfortable and compassionate environment that emphasizes positive life experiences and active involvement in a daily routine. The staff who care for our Alzheimer’s residents are focused on meeting their special needs. We encourage family to remain integrally involved in the lives of their loved ones and offer ongoing support through individual care plan conferences and support group meetings.
